Full Tilt Poker Review

NOTE* In April 2011 Fulltilt closed due to black friday.
fulltilt poker.com was one of the best poker sites for beginners looking to start off or experienced players looking to capitalize on fishy players.

Overview – Full Tilt was a well established site. It was one of the best known poker sites, mostly because of all the stars that play there on a regular basis. It’s not uncommon to be able to watch Phil Ivey sit down at a high limit table at Full Tilt. They offer some very neat promotions such as a chance to win a $18k poker trip to Australia or the “Bust-out Bounties” where you will be awarded a cash prize for beating one of their many sponsored pro’s out of a tournament.

Full Tilt Poker Referral Code – When using our full tilt referral code FTP4U Full Tilt offers a great bonus of 100% up to $600; meaning you will receive a 100% match of your deposit up to $600. The money is awarded in $5 increments at a very good pace.

Competition Level – The competition level at Full Tilt Poker is very low for the lower limits. I find a lot of college students and in general a younger crowd plays at Full Tilt Poker. Over my time of playing at Full Tilt I find playing on Friday and Saturday nights (when you’re not going out) to be very profitable; this is when a lot of the younger crowd plays drunk, which causes them to play very loose. It is very entertaining and most likely results in more money in your pocket!

Tournaments – Full Tilt Poker offers some great tournaments such as their famous FTOPS event which runs for about two weeks and has a total prize pool of over 11 million dollars. The also offer great guaranteed payout tournaments and many satellites into events such as the WSOP and Aussie Millions for a very small buy-in. Be sure to use our Full Tilt Poker referral code as we will be offering freerolls in the future.

Cashier – Full Tilt has the top of the line cashier system, offering plenty of deposit and cash out options. These options range from Credit Card to Instadebit. Full Tilt has an excellent support team to help you pick your deposit option.

My best online poker achievement

After playing poker online for about three years in a number of poker rooms, often winning a little but mostly just hanging on to my modest bankroll (beating the rake), I had this brief but pleasant good streak a couple of years ago. I won two Party Poker tournaments in fifteen days with first prizes totaling $3,000. My bankroll mushroomed, and so did my balls. Finally I could start playing at stakes more appropriate to my skill level! No more low stakes grinding for this ace. How that went is another story, but it’s been an interesting journey, oh yeah.

Play in Poker Freerolls

Poker freerolls are poker tournaments that don’t require an entry fee. Even if the players don't put up any money, freerolls can award cash prizes or entry to other tournaments that award cash prizes. There are different ways to get into a freeroll. Some poker sites offer one freeroll entry as a bonus, simply for signing up with the site. On other sites, you may earn player points and use them as entry to a freeroll tournament. You can even win entry into a freeroll tournament by winning a freeroll satellite tournament.

2008 World series of Poker

The 2008 WSOP Schedule has been announced and poker players all over the world are getting excited.

World Series of Poker players and fans will be happy about some of the new rules put in place this year.

Like rule #36 which states "Excessive celebration through extended theatrics, inappropriate behavior, or physical actions, gestures, or conduct may be subject to penalty.

Also last year’s controversial TDA rule, "Show one, show both" If a player exposes one hole card, he or she must also show the other hole card if asked to do so by any player, has been removed. Players will now be allowed to show only one card, but only after the hand is over.
